1. System Introduction
It provides a system for players to help game masters ban in-game website spammers and 3rd party bot users.
(1) Players can user the command “/report character name” to report spammers.
(2) The system will check how many reports have been received for the suspected character.
(3) If the received reports are more than 5, it automatically pops up a GM quiz on the character’s screen, but with 20 second time limit.
(4) If the character successfully answers the quiz, the system will not ask another GM quiz for the next 30 mins (to prevent abuse). If failed to answer the GM quiz correctly, the character will be automatically sent to the prison zone, “The Rock.”
(5) Game Masters will then investigate characters in The Rock and take necessary actions.
We hope that the implementation of this method will greatly help reduce in-game botters and spammers and ear more hero online gold.
